This Privacy Policy describes how FoodBridge ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information in connection with our platform, which connects local donors, vendors, and individuals with soup kitchens to reduce food waste and fight hunger. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Communication logs and messages between donors and soup kitchens.
  • Information about volunteer activities, such as hours logged and tasks completed.

2. How We Use Your Information

D. Account Deactivation for Inactivity

Donor accounts that have shown no activity (e.g., no successful donations or logins) for a continuous period of more than two (2) years will be deemed inactive. We reserve the right to automatically deactivate and/or delete the Personal Data associated with such inactive accounts as part of our data retention policy. If a deactivated donor wishes to rejoin the platform, they must contact the FoodBridge admin team directly at foodbridgeph.mail@gmail.com to request reactivation, which will be subject to admin approval and verification of current data.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We share your information to make the FoodBridge service possible. We may share your Personal Data with:
